The Gony Zubizarreta 2026 soft top is the final result of many concepts and tests carried out with a clear goal: to develop a fast, balanced, and fun board capable of performing at its best in varied conditions and for different surfer profiles. Professional surfer Gony Zubizarreta actively participated in the design process to achieve the model he envisioned.

After refining details, adjusting volumes and precisely defining the expected behavior, we created a high-performance softboard that responds smoothly, accelerates easily, and enables dynamic, progressive surfing. It’s designed to maximize enjoyment, improve technique and raise skill level, while maintaining comfort and confidence thanks to its soft construction.

The new 2026 model introduces our HL construction — a 100% soft system developed to offer a lighter, more accessible, and more enjoyable board. Its shape is intended to suit a wide range of surfers, from intermediate to advanced, and also those seeking a comfortable, high-performance daily driver.

Configuration is worth noting: this model is not a twinfin — it comes with a Thruster setup (3 fins), providing greater control, stability and grip, especially in more powerful turns and critical sections. This configuration enables more complete surfing, facilitating progressive maneuvers and superior control without sacrificing speed.
