Sports equipment requires proper care so that it lasts us longer. This means that it should not only be maintained regularly, but also stored properly, protecting it from the adverse effects of external factors and mechanical damage. That is why every fan of white madness and board enthusiasts should have a snowboard cover. It is not only the best way to store equipment outside the season, but also a great convenience during transport.

How to choose a snowboard cover?

Snowboard covers are always matched to the size of the board, so it will not be too big or too small, and thus will properly protect the equipment from damage. There are also universal covers that will work for any board. When we close the cover, there should be some free space left inside, about 5-8 cm of "slack". Covers are most often made of waterproof materials. Only such materials will provide the board with good protection against the adverse effects of weather conditions, such as rain, snow and humid air. The material must also be durable and solid so that it does not wear through.

Details that matter

Just as important as the material of the snowboard cover is the zipper and other fastenings used in it. Two-slider fastenings work very well. Pay attention to whether the cover has a carrying handle and what type it is. Many models have both an adjustable shoulder strap and a shorter handle for carrying by hand. Additional pockets may also be useful, e.g. for snowboard accessories and other personal items. Along with the board cover, you should also have a boot cover, as they also require protection and good storage conditions. So put together your set!
