The frameless design of the Axis™ features an elegant Quick Change Lens System and a clean, bold style. Four self-locating magnets assist in the quick lens exchange, while four locks securely hold the lens in place. The fit accommodates a wide range of face shapes while providing an impressively wide field of view with EXV. The Axis includes two premium VIVID lenses with ZEISS optics.

TECHNOLOGIES:

EVAK VENT TECHNOLOGY - The Evak Vent technology, used exclusively in VIVID goggle models, utilizes a new foam made from exceptionally durable, non-absorbent material. EVAK vents minimize the risk of fogging by releasing moisture while simultaneously creating a protective barrier.

EXPANSION VIEW TECHNOLOGY - Developed and refined at our research and development center in Santa Cruz, California, Giro's groundbreaking Expansion View (EXV) technology features a new frame design that creates an unparalleled field of vision. We started by designing helmet-compatible goggles, then eliminated and reduced frame material and designed frameless zones to optimize massive spherical lenses for maximum peripheral vision in our goggles.

QUICK CHANGE LENS SYSTEM - This new, sleek lens exchange system uses self-locating magnets to facilitate fast lens swaps while keeping them securely in place.

VIVID - This patented lens technology developed by Giro in collaboration with Zeiss Optics enhances visual experiences on snow by improving contrast and sharpness. VIVID technology effectively manipulates blue light, allowing contrasting blue light to pass through while blocking harmful UV radiation. Essentially, VIVID filters out haze and liberates your eyes to see the terrain and focus on enjoying the ride.

VIVID reduces eye fatigue, improves reaction time, increases confidence, and provides precise vision without excessive color saturation.
