SPHERICAL TECHNOLOGY™
Spherical Technology, powered by Mips®, is an enhancement and evolution of the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (Mips). With this sophisticated design, two layers of foam fit together like a ball and socket. This system helps protect the brain from rotational energy, allowing relative movement of 10–15 millimeters between the helmet and head during the first milliseconds of impact. Developed at the Bell + Giro Dome in collaboration with Mips®, the patented Spherical Technology with ball-and-socket technology shifts impact forces while combining market-leading design, performance, and brain protection without sacrificing comfort, ventilation, weight, or style.

MIPS EQUIPPED
Mips® can provide greater protection in certain impacts. The key components of a Mips-equipped helmet include an inner foam liner, low-friction padding, and an elastomeric attachment system. Upon an angled impact, the elastomeric attachment system stretches, allowing the foam liner to rotate independently around the head.

CONFORM FIT TECHNOLOGY
The fully integrated Conform Fit system uses a two-part shell that literally adapts to the shape of the head, expanding and contracting with the turn of a dial. It is a truly adaptive design, equipped with durable yet semi-flexible EPP construction that provides the lowest fitting profile we have ever created, along with unmatched comfort.

HYBRID CONSTRUCTION
Hybrid Construction combines a durable, ventilated Hard Shell upper with an In-Mold lower shell and sidewalls for added protection and style. With Hybrid Construction, the helmet is reinforced to provide extra durability while remaining lightweight. Hybrid Construction also features impact-absorbing and lightweight EPS foam padding.

D2 CONSTRUCTION
D2 Construction combines two densities of polypropylene foam (EPP) to handle both high- and low-energy impacts. Additionally, EPP offers impressive resilience—this compressible foam recovers its shape and retains some of its protective properties after multiple impacts.

IN-MOLD CONSTRUCTION
In-Mold construction fuses a durable polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing foam liner. The bonding process allows for better ventilation systems, making In-Mold helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.

HARD SHELL CONSTRUCTION
Hard Shell Construction produces excellent helmets at a great price. The durable outer shell is molded and then attached to an EPS foam liner.

IN FORM 2 FIT SYSTEM
The In Form 2 system is lighter and has a lower profile than the original, making it even easier to fit in seconds—even with gloves on. The updated On-The-Fly Vertical Tuning feature adjusts to different goggles and head shapes, providing a gap-free fit.

PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE VENTING SYSTEM
The discreet design of the external vent and internal channels (including the liner and padding) work together to ensure optimal airflow and temperature regulation. This automatic venting technology manages airflow and temperature movement while riding, hiking, or standing still.
