The Ledge Helmet can also be modified, as it has a detachable goggle clip and removable ear pads.

ENGINEERED COMFORT HEAD SHAPE - Giro's proprietary head forms are developed using a combination of precise head scans, detailed fit studies, and aggregation of size and shape data worldwide. Giro additionally uses scaled head shapes to fit our Asian line.

HELMET DEPTH - The ideal helmet depth successfully combines comfort with full coverage of the forehead, back of the head, and ears. This is achieved through careful research and 3D printed prototypes to ensure the perfect fit against low temperatures, high speeds, and wind.

GIRO AUDIO ACCESSORIES BY OUTDOOR TECH - The Chips™ 2.0 wireless headphones feature one-touch control buttons and a touchless phone call handling function. The Chips™ wired headphones are a universal wired model with easy-to-use controls (even with gloves) and a 10-hour playback time. Both models are equipped with full-range 40 mm speakers and tested to work in temperatures down to -29°C.

HARD SHELL CONSTRUCTION - The Hard Shell construction creates excellent helmets at a great price. The durable outer shell is molded and then attached to an EPS foam liner.

IN FORM™ FIT SYSTEM - The In Form adjustment system makes it easy to select the right fit in seconds - even with gloves on. An ergonomic dial at the base of the helmet provides up to 6 cm of adjustment and enhances stability. The vertical tuning feature accommodates various goggles and head shapes to fit them without excess slack.

PRECISION PADDING DESIGNING THE PADDING ZONES - Giro padding is strategically placed and works together with the head shape, helmet depth, and MIPS system. The padding is positioned to provide warmth and breathability while fitting with the helmet’s ventilation systems and achieving seamless compatibility with Giro goggles.

EARPAD POSITIONING - Ear pad adjustment is a key component of fit and comfort. Each Giro helmet model is tested for the optimal ear pad setting to provide necessary warmth, comfort, and wind reduction, all without sacrificing the ability to hear the surroundings.

GOGGLE MOUNT POSITIONING - Correct placement of goggle mounts complements the Giro package. Easy integration of goggles and helmet is essential to achieving top performance. Hazards of incorrect mounting include improper helmet positioning on the head, diminished visibility, brain freeze, poor ventilation, and a gap between the helmet and goggles.

STACK VENT - Our chimney ventilation has been developed based on research showing that most warm air that can cause goggle fogging escapes through the middle top ventilation hole of the goggles. Aligning the helmet ventilation hole with the goggle hole helps keep them clear and fog-free.
