Our dedicated foil free-race sail. It combines the highest foiling technology from the Flight EVO series with the ease of use of the V8 — the V8 Flight is a top-class, high-performance free-race sail. Super fast and stable; 4 sizes from 5 m to 8 m will let you “outperform” your friends in 6–25 knots of wind. A favorite sail in private quivers and windsurfing centers around the world. For 2026, we added Ultra PE X-Ply in the lower section and clew, which increases durability and reduces weight.

INNOVATIONS
Designed and tested at our NeilPryde Maui Design Center by Robert Stroj, then refined through feedback from our riders around the world. We leave no detail overlooked in our constant pursuit of being the best at what we do.
Sail features:
Slalom speed and pure foil racing without technical complications
Directly derived from the RS:Flight program, the V8 Flight offers almost the same speed, power, and upwind/downwind performance as our pure racing foil sail, but with a narrower mast sleeve and only 2 camber inducers.
Narrow double mast sleeve construction
A significantly narrower mast sleeve than the RS:Flight allows faster and easier mast insertion and minimizes the sleeve filling with water after submersion in a fall.
Easier rigging than a pure slalom sail
With only 2 camber inducers and slightly less overall downhaul tension, the V8 Flight is much quicker to rig than a fully cambered foil/slalom sail.
Jibes and rotation
The advantage of a two-camber sail in jibes is smoother and easier rotation. This is especially useful in foiling, where every small sail movement affects the foil's flight during jibes.
Specially for foil
Designed exclusively for foil free-race, the V8 Flight uses construction solutions that are not possible in fin sails due to the need for control and depowering.
High aspect construction
The shape of the V8 Flight is directly taken from the high-aspect RS:Flight design. This allows you to make the most of every gust and promotes maximum speed and performance upwind and downwind.
Tight leech
Since chop control is not an issue when flying on a foil, the V8 Flight has a tighter leech than a pure slalom sail. This increases acceleration and efficiency and allows you to use a smaller sail.
6-batten construction
Because foil sails do not require as much emphasis on control, the V8 Flight has been reduced to 6 battens, reducing unnecessary weight and giving the sail a softer feel plus better pumping and jibe performance.
