Characteristics
VT JOINT
Increases the contact area between the boom attachment and the mast. Can be used on any mast with a standard diameter. Reduces the risk of point loading. Minimizes play between the boom and mast connection. Allows for easy height adjustment of the boom.
MAST CUP
The mast cup provides 2 contact points between the cup and the mast, creating a secure connection and ensuring excellent power transfer.
The V shape accommodates differences in standard mast diameters. Slightly thinner masts sit deeper in the V, while wider ones sit more outward. The VT-Joint is the standard in all NeilPryde booms.
OPTIMAL CLEAT ANGLE
The newly optimized cleat angle makes tightening and loosening exceptionally simple. Additionally, it ensures that the line never loosens or shifts accidentally during a session.
INTEGRATED BOOM LEVER
Integrated boom lever facilitating locking and opening. Designed with a smaller surface area and lower weight.
TRIM-PIN — LEVER CONSTRUCTION
Double inserts with an easy-to-use locking and opening lever. Allows for easy adjustment of the rear part, optimal load distribution, and a rigid connection between the boom body and the tail end.
