Product description

JP HydroFoil Slalom 2026 – an aerodynamic masterpiece of foil racing

The new JP HydroFoil Slalom 2026 series was created for riders expecting maximum speed, control, and efficiency during foil racing. At the center of attention is the completely redesigned HF SL 85 model, which sets new performance standards thanks to even more refined aerodynamics and an optimized hull shape.

Years of experience from designer Werner Gnigler made it possible to create a board that gets airborne earlier, accelerates faster, and maintains exceptional stability even under full load. Every element of the construction has been subordinated to one goal – achieving higher speeds while maintaining full control.

The new HF SL 85 – more speed and control

The HF SL 85 model received a slightly longer outline and an optimized rocker line, which allows it to lift off the water earlier at lower speeds. At the same time, it retains a compact character thanks to the very sharp V-profile on the underside of the nose.

The biggest changes were introduced in the deck construction. Its new profile acts like an aerodynamic wing, reducing air resistance, generating additional lift, and increasing stability during foil flight.

The most important improvements include:
 - new rails reducing turbulence and improving airflow,
 - a special cutout in the rear part of the deck ensuring clean air release,
 - a flatter deck at the front foot for better power transfer to the foil,
 - a modified rail shape at the back foot increasing comfort and control,
 - double rear footstrap mounting positions allowing the setup to be adjusted to wind strength and riding style.
 - S-TEC technology – ultralight racing construction

In foil racing, every gram matters. That is why all HydroFoil Slalom models use advanced S-TEC technology, designed to reduce weight to a minimum without compromising strength.

The technology includes:
 - no paint layer,
 - anti-slip only in the foot placement area,
 - thinner pads with less EVA foam and glue,
 - an optimized layout of composite fibers prepared individually for each model.

The result is a construction up to 300 grams lighter than traditional solutions, providing faster starts, better response to rider movements, and greater control at high speeds.

Key shape features:
 - Aerodynamic nose ensuring smooth airflow and stable flight.
 - Mast base area designed for maximum efficiency and soft touchdowns.
 - A recess at the mast track improving control at high speeds and during turns.
 - Aerodynamically shaped tail increasing stability.
 - Large tail cutouts reducing drag and enabling lightning-fast takeoff into flight.
 - Wide tail providing greater leverage and effective control over the large forces generated by the foil.
 - Premium construction

The HydroFoil Slalom 2026 boards are made from the highest-quality composite materials:
 - full Biax Carbon deck,
 - high-density PVC layers across the entire deck and bottom of the board,
 - Biax Carbon reinforcements in the footstrap area,
 - fiberglass reinforcements in the central part of the deck and at the footstrap mounts,
 - full parabolic rails reinforced with overlapping layers of carbon and fiberglass,
 - deck cutout improving airflow,
 - mast track recess ("close the gap"),
 - large tail cutouts,
 - Foil-Tuttle Box mounting system,
 - footstraps with adjustment scale,
 - new sail positioning scale.

JP HydroFoil Slalom 2026 is an uncompromising racing machine for riders seeking maximum speed and control on the foil. Lighter, faster, and more aerodynamic than ever before, it allows you to reach a completely new level of foil slalom racing.
