The Biomimicry series is evolving. Gamma is the latest product of our engineers' obsession with studying the natural world in search of new ways to improve the snowboard.

Nidecker has used asymmetry to provide greater grip, just as alpine animals use slightly offset paws to gracefully master the lines of mountain terrain ridges. Although Gamma is a true TWIN from nose to tail, the heel and toe edges have a different shape. Gamma's heel-side sidecut is much narrower than the toe-side one, which means it is much easier to maintain control during turns and frontside carving.

Catching side hits on the slope, performing freestyle maneuvers in soft slush or deep powder is the environment where Gamma feels at its best. Gamma is a board for those who seek tricks at every opportunity, not necessarily in trick parks.

The Evolution Spoon Nose system provides smooth turns but also a looser ride on flat ground, complementing its incredible edge precision. Combined with our proven camrock profile, Master Core, POP Carbon and the N-7000 base, Gamma will unleash your creativity and provide plenty of fun anywhere in the mountains.

After all, that is what Gamma is: an unconventional shape for those looking for extra thrills.
