It’s a timeless board for linking every turn and feeling the ride along the fall line. Camber underfoot, a medium-stiff flex, and an aggressive sidecut make it sharp on the piste, but thanks to the larger nose surface and early-rise rocker, it glides easily through turns and floats smoothly in powder.
Key features
- The Mellow is equipped with our Master Core. Two wood species (poplar and paulownia) are combined to deliver the best of everything: lightness, durability, and responsiveness.
- The larger nose surface increases float in deep snow; the shorter tail naturally sinks, reducing rear-leg fatigue.
- The Mellow is laminated with a blend of triax and biax fibers. Combined with carbon fiber elements at the core ends, it provides a stiff flex and a smooth ride.

6 rows of inserts spaced every 2 cm provide maximum width position selection and are compatible with every binding available on the market.
FIBERGLASS - Triax Plus
Fiberglass is woven in three directions at a 45° angle for maximum stiffness. As a result of detailed testing, Triax Plus uses different densities of fiberglass above and below the core to provide a more consistent torsional flex, better pop, and instant response.
CORE - Master Core
Our Master Core is the result of decades of experimentation with materials and woodcraft. Two varieties of wood (beech and paulownia) combine to provide the best properties: lightness, strength, and responsiveness.
BASE - N-7000 Hybrid
Developed exclusively for Nidecker, the N-7000 Hybrid combines the durability and low maintenance requirements of an extruded base with the hardness of a sintered base. Minimum effort, maximum glide.
ADDED CARBON - Pop Carbon
Carbon fiber is located between the inserts and the nose and tail, increasing ollie power and dampening vibrations.
