Key features:
- The Mosquito can be chosen about 10 cm shorter than a standard all-mountain board. Thanks to its poplar and paulownia core, it is as light as your favorite surfboard.
- Our exclusive Power Rails construction wraps the core around the edges, delivering more power and edge hold. Combined with a narrow ABS sidewall, it creates a striking finish straight from the shaper's workshop.
- The Mosquito is small, but incredibly fast. The N-9000 sintered race-grade base makes it one of the fastest boards in our collection.
Additional features:
- Metallic – Eye-catching graphic details, including metallic inks with a glitter effect and holograms.
- Hot Stamp – A gold or silver graphic detail applied to the topsheet.
- Diecut Base – Single-color base materials joined like puzzle pieces, creating a bold and precise graphic.
Characteristics
CONSTRUCTION - Power Rails
Exclusive Nidecker construction inspired by surfboards. The topsheet is wrapped around a rounded wooden core and connects to a thin sidewall. This striking finish performs even better while riding, providing immediate energy transfer to the edge.
TOPSHEET - Absorbnid
Innovative topsheet designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. The result is a smoother ride and less fatigue.
INSERTS - 4x2/6
6 rows of inserts spaced every 2 cm provide maximum width adjustment options for bindings and work with any binding available on the market.
FIBERGLASS - Triax Plus
Fiberglass is woven in three directions at a 45° angle, providing maximum stiffness. As a result of extensive testing, Triax Plus utilizes different densities of fiberglass above and below the core, ensuring a more even torsional flex, better pop, and instant response.
CORE - Light Core
Exceptionally lightweight core based on a dynamic combination of poplar and paulownia. Beech wood stringers along the center increase overall durability and improve pop.
BASE - N-9000 Sintered
Incredibly fast sintered base made from very dense material with high carbon content minimizes friction. Regular waxing ensures performance at a racing level.
ADDED CARBON - Pop Carbon
Carbon fibers have been placed between the inserts and the nose and tail of the board. They increase pop during ollies and dampen unwanted vibrations at high speeds.
EXCLUSIVE TECH - Booster Bars
Reinforcements made of lightweight alloy on both sides of the board instantly transfer the rider's movements to the edges — it's the closest thing to a gas pedal under your feet.
EXCLUSIVE TECH - Orbital Cushioning
Shock-absorbing urethane has been built into the board around the inserts. It provides a smoother ride and less foot fatigue during high-speed rides on hard snow or heavy landings.
