EVAK VENT TECHNOLOGY - Evak Vent technology used exclusively in VIVID goggles uses a new foam made from an exceptionally durable, non-absorbent material. EVAK vents minimize the risk of fogging by releasing moisture while simultaneously creating a protective barrier.
EXPANSION VIEW TECHNOLOGY - Expanded view technology - Developed and refined at our R&D center in Santa Cruz, California, Giro's breakthrough EXV technology is a new frame design that creates an unparalleled field of view. We started by designing helmet-compatible goggles, then eliminated and reduced frame material and designed frameless zones to optimize massive spherical lenses and achieve maximum peripheral vision in our goggles.
QUICK CHANGE LENS SYSTEM - This new, sleek lens change system uses self-locating magnets to help with quick lens changes and keep the lens securely in place.
VIVID - a patented lens technology developed by Giro in collaboration with Zeiss Optics that enhances the visual experience on snow by improving contrast and sharpness of vision. VIVID technology effectively manipulates blue light, allowing contrasting blue light to pass through while blocking harmful UV radiation. VIVID essentially filters out haze and frees your eyes to read the terrain and focus on enjoying the ride.
VIVID reduces eye fatigue, improves reaction time, increases confidence, and provides precise vision without oversaturating color.
