Product description
When we designed the Sierra W, we wanted to create the lightest snowboard boot we had ever made, without giving up the ride comfort that characterizes Nidecker's modern boot line. The lighter the boot, the longer and more intensely you can ride. We are pleased to say that the Sierra-W is 27% lighter than its predecessor. The slimming down of the new SIERRA W started with the outsole. In the Sierra-W model, we gave it the Gravity outsole, made from lightweight and durable EVA foam. We shaped the lugs in the same way as the rest of our outsoles - taking cues from nature and then adapting them to provide the best possible grip. The upper part of the boot can be quickly and precisely closed with a single H4 BOA® dial on the tongue. Below, we used BOA® TX3 textile laces to further reduce weight, increase durability, and provide a more natural closure feel.
Inside, our "thermoformable" "Bronze Level" liner with a single-layer insole will provide you with support, comfort, and warmth. Like the rest of our range, the Sierra W has an asymmetrical outer shape, which means the boot fits our bindings perfectly and provides optimal power transfer.
Characteristics
Single-Dial BOA®
The single BOA® dial located on the tongue tightens the steel cable across the entire boot shell. It is the fastest and simplest way to fasten and unfasten the boot.
BOA® Fit System - H4 Dial
Ready for anything, designed to withstand everything. The indestructible BOA® H4 dial is made for the most demanding riders and withstands impacts, from the park to powder. Its robust design allows for quick and smooth operation, even while wearing gloves.
Heel Lock - 3D Liner Support
Great foot hold starts inside the boot, thanks to the 3D molded material and 'J' shaped reinforcements around the ankle. Minimal movement, maximum control.
Outsole - Gravity
Made from a single piece of indestructible and lightweight EVA foam, our standard Gravity outsole provides excellent cushioning underfoot and a tread similar to our top-of-the-line boots.
Liner - Bronze level
Our Bronze liner features an integrated lacing system that securely holds the foot in place, supported by a low-profile lace lock slider. Insole - 3D Single Density
Anatomically designed to perfectly fit the foot, made from a single piece of comfortable EVA foam. The fleece lining and silicone print on the top of the insole provide warmth and stability.
