Altai is the central element of Nidecker's new boot collection, offering premium features and freeride-friendly support at an unbeatable price. It is built around an asymmetrical upper that fits Nidecker and Flow binding straps perfectly, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system includes textile-covered laces and dual dials that allow independent control of the upper and lower sections. Underneath, our lightweight BFT Gravity 2.0 sole provides incredible cushioning and grip, while the rubber toe cap increases traction when hiking on ice and rocks.

We smoothed the connection between the sole and the boot with a molded section we call the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent getting caught in the binding heel cup. A hard rubber print on the toe protects the boot and adds style. Inside is a new thermoformable silver liner that allows you to customize the fit if needed, but is comfortable right out of the box. Altai is a medium-stiff model with plenty of lateral support, making it great for laying trenches on the slope or floating through the woods with remarkable precision.
