Altai is the centerpiece of Nidecker's new boot collection, offering premium features and freeride-friendly support at an unbeatable price. It is built around an asymmetrical upper that fits Nidecker and Flow binding straps perfectly, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system features textile-covered laces and dual dials that let you independently control the upper and lower sections. Underneath, our lightweight BFT Gravity 2.0 sole provides amazing cushioning and grip, while the rubber toe cap increases traction when hiking over ice and rocks.

We smoothed the connection between the sole and the boot with a molded section we call the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent getting caught in the binding heel cup. A hard rubber print on the toe protects the boot and adds style. Inside is a new thermoformable silver liner that lets you customize the fit if needed, but is comfortable right out of the box. Altai is a medium-stiff model with plenty of lateral support, making it great for laying trenches on the slope or floating through the trees with remarkable precision.
