Altai is the flagship of Nidecker's new boot collection, offering premium features and freeride-friendly support at an unbeatable price. It is built around an asymmetrical upper that fits Nidecker and Flow straps perfectly, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system features textile-coated laces and two dials that allow you to control the upper and lower sections independently. The lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole provides excellent cushioning and grip, while the rubber toe cap increases traction when hiking on ice and rocks.
We have aligned the connection between the outsole and the boot through a molded section called the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent it from catching on the binding heel section. A hard rubber element on the toe protects the boot and adds style. Inside is a new, heat-moldable Silver insole, which allows the boot to be customized to individual needs, yet is comfortable right out of the box. Altai is a medium-stiff model with strong lateral support, making it great for fast carves or precise tree riding when the snow is good. If you love the art of turning, you will love this boot.

Dual-Dial BOA®
The Dual-Dial BOA® system allows for quick and easy shoe adjustment using two dials. The upper and lower parts of the foot can be adjusted independently, enabling a personalized fit and a choice between maximum power transfer and a looser, more "surf-like" turning style.
H4 Coiler
Ready for anything, designed to last. The reliable BOA® H4 Coiler system was created for the most demanding riders and is impact-resistant, both in the park and in deep snow. Its efficient mechanism quickly tightens the laces, speeding up boot entry.
Gravity+
Made from a single piece of extremely durable and lightweight EVA foam, the Gravity+ sole provides excellent cushioning underfoot. The tread pattern is inspired by snowcat tracks, and the rubber section around the toe area guarantees reliable grip on ice.
Silver level
Thermal molding allows you to adjust the fit of the versatile Silver liner, which additionally features a Custom Flex zone around the toes, providing more room for freedom of movement. The liner contains 8 mm of PE foam and additional PU support. It is closed with a separate cuff connected to the inside of the shell, making putting it on and taking it off extremely easy. Velcro on both sides of the tongue ensures a secure fit.
3D Dual Density
Anatomically designed to fit the shape of the foot perfectly, the insole is made from two densities of EVA foam – the firmer material supports the heel and arch area. The fleece-lined insole with a silicone print on the top surface provides warmth and stability.
