- The front BOA® dial in the Altai model has been equipped with the latest H5 Coiler™ technology, providing precise micro-adjustment in both directions. This allows you to quickly and accurately adjust the boots while riding.
- The new Ascent 2.0 outsole provides excellent cushioning and grip, as well as better compatibility with Supermatic® bindings and increased traction during ascents on ice and rocks.
- The 3D Pro insole and thermoformable Silver liner provide exceptional comfort right out of the box. The fit can be further personalized.
Technologies and additional features:
- Thermoformable liner - Made from advanced memory foam, thermoformable liners gradually adapt to the shape of the foot over time. They can also be heat-molded in-store to achieve an immediately personalized fit. Enjoy the absence of pressure points and maximum comfort.
- Asym 3F - A unique asymmetrical construction developed in cooperation with BOA®, providing balanced support and flexibility. The lace guides on the tongue are positioned over flatter areas of the forefoot, ensuring even tightening and reducing the risk of pressure points. Additional support for the medial arch helps reduce foot fatigue.
- Articulating Flex Zone - The upper part of the boot is asymmetrically connected to the lower part, allowing the ankle to move naturally. The construction provides excellent support without deforming the shell during flex.
- 3D Molded Toebox - The three-dimensionally molded toe box reduces the number of extra layers and seams around the forefoot, improving waterproofness and durability. The streamlined design also makes it easier to put the boot into and out of the binding.
- 3D Molded Tongue - The asymmetrical, three-dimensionally molded tongue has a more pronounced shape on the medial side to better match the natural shape of the forefoot. This design minimizes pressure points and provides more even comfort and support than a traditional straight tongue.
Characteristics
CLOSURE SYSTEM - Dual BOA®
Dual BOA® technology allows for quick and precise adjustment of laces using two independent dials. Each controls a different zone of the shoe, providing a personalized fit in seconds.
BOA® - Fit System H5 Coiler
The latest evolution of BOA® technology offers micro-adjustment — simply turn the dial in the opposite direction to gradually reduce tension and precisely fit the shoe. The low-profile design gives the shoe an aesthetic look and reduces the risk of snagging.
HEEL LOCK - External Heel Lock
Our external heel stabilization system works with the BOA® dial located on the tongue of the shoe. It tightens the built-in wings on both sides of the ankle to limit heel lift.
OUTSOLE - Ascent 2.0
Ascent 2.0 builds on the solutions used in the original version, offering improved Transition Zone™ technology and a stiffer, more durable rubber in the heel for better compatibility with speed entry bindings. Reinforced rubber traction in the forefoot and heel ensures excellent grip.
LINER - Silver
The Silver liner can be heat molded for a personalized fit and features a Custom Flex zone in the toes, 8 mm PE foam, and additional PU support. A separate cuff connected to the shell makes entry easier, and the Velcro on the tongue ensures a secure fit.
LINER CLOSURE - Shell Harness
Pull the internal laces to tighten the fit on the shell. Velcro secures the tongue.
INSOLE - 3D Pro
Performance insole combining EVA foam and TPE in one, three-dimensionally molded element, providing the highest level of comfort and long-lasting resilience. Breathable mesh top layer increases warmth and grip.
