Rift Lace is an option for riders who want the good old traditional lacing for practicing tricks in the park or all-mountain riding. Traditional laces mean you can take some time to fit the boot exactly the way you want. It’s that morning ritual that is as old as snowboarding itself. Our new "Speed Hook" lets you lock in the tension of the lower laces, then independently adjust the upper section. The design is inspired by old-school sneakers and skate boots, but it is packed with modern materials and technologies. The seamless toe construction is 3D-molded, ensuring a perfect fit with our bindings.

The upper shell consists of two parts that can flex independently. This articulated construction provides a constant forward flex without the consequences of painful pressure points. The Rift Lace is really lightweight and has a low profile. Part of that is thanks to the Ascent rubber outsole. We used dual-density components to provide cushioning underfoot and increase grip. The wavy tread pattern is inspired by the footprint of a gecko — the embodiment of grip. The new Silver liner can be heat-molded, allowing for a custom fit if needed, while also providing excellent support and comfort right out of the box.
