Kaon-CX is the most advanced and lightest model in the line, packed with top-quality components that deliver incredible riding response. Both the baseplate and hiback are reinforced with carbon fiber, which increases overall stiffness and enables immediate energy transfer. The asymmetrical construction works with the FlowFit™ system, a trademark of Nidecker, and guarantees compatibility with every boot model. Together with innovative AuxTech® straps that smoothly expand around the foot, you get a seamless connection to the board, allowing dynamic edge changes and sharp riding in full carves.
Kaon-CX features precision-machined Axion-Ratchets aluminum buckles, characterized by a buttery-smooth action and unmatched strength-to-weight ratio. The full-length EVA footbed with 2-degree canting effectively dampens vibrations and works better with the rider's stance. Experienced, powerful shredders will not find a more aggressive, featherlight control in bindings.

AXIS N1-SERIES CARBON BASEPLATE
30% CARBON, 70% NYLON
Stiffness and immediate energy transfer are dramatically increased thanks to the nylon material with a carbon blend, which is 230% stiffer than the standard Axis baseplate. The rocker protects your board's topsheet, and the asymmetrical shape provides a natural connection.
EXOFRAME
The ExoFrame ankle strap is made from injected TPU with the same 3D pattern as the Hexo Toecap, which fits the shoe perfectly. The ExoSpine ankle is suspended on the ExoFrame strap to lock the shoe in place for unmatched comfort and performance.
HEXO TOECAP STRAP
The Hexo Toecap strap is equipped with AuxTech®; a three-dimensional, flexible Auxetic shape, providing the highest level of comfort.
AXION-RATCHETS BUCKLES
Based on a tried-and-true original design, the Nidecker Axion-Ratchet with an aluminum lever operates as smoothly as butter, so you can easily get in and out of the straps.
ASYM SPOON C6-HIGHBACK
The Asym C6-Hiback is made from 3K carbon fiber, with a slightly wider and more recessed upper profile than the Hadron hiback for better power transfer and control at high speeds.
