Product description
Powerful and demanding riders looking for a medium-stiff binding for all-terrain riding need look no further than the legendary NX2. The binding is built on an extremely durable aluminum base, delivering lightning-fast energy transfer underfoot, while the slightly more park-oriented highback flex adds riding freedom. All-day comfort is provided by the Exo-Kush strap made from EVA foam and the full-size, canted BankBed, which absorbs impacts and works more effectively with the natural position of your legs.
Key features:
- This version of the NX2 uses a Hybrid-style strap, delivering classic freestyle feel. The Hexo Toecap 2.0 can be swapped from the left binding to the right and vice versa to precisely match the shape of the boot.
- The iconic NX2 base is made from aircraft-grade aluminum, providing precise edge control with minimal weight.
- Active Strap technology automatically lifts the entire system when the highback is reclined, making it even faster to step into the binding and get ready to ride.
Additional features:
- BankBeds - We design our footbeds with a 2.5° canted contact surface to ensure optimal ankle and knee alignment and efficient energy transfer.
- Slip-N-Grip - Smooth plates strategically placed inside the binding reduce friction from the boot sole. Slip-N-Grip makes it easy to slide your foot in and out without compromising the underfoot comfort provided by our BankBed footbeds.
- Multi-Disk NX2 (4HP + 3HP + Channel) - All NX2 bindings are equipped with aluminum offset Multi-Disk discs, compatible with all standard insert systems, including 4x4, 4x2, 3HP and M6 Channel. The holes are offset from the center, allowing greater adjustment of toe and heel position as well as stance width.
- Quick-Set Latches - Adjust the strap from the inside to fit the boot and keep it centered. Quick-Set Latches require no tools and are simple and safe to use. The numbering on the ladder helps you quickly set the correct position.
Characteristics
HIGHBACK - Nylon+ FX Uniback
The super lightweight highback is ergonomically designed to fit the shape of the boot. The wide support surface provides greater control and more efficient energy transfer. Glass fiber reinforced nylon offers an excellent balance between responsiveness and the ability to flex freely. 30% glass fiber / 70% nylon
STRAP - Exo Kush Hybrid
The dual-layer strap combines a comfortable layer of EVA foam with a durable exoskeleton. The hybrid construction connects the toe and ankle parts, allowing for quick entry into bindings while maintaining the freestyle character of a classic two-strap binding.
TOE STRAP - Hexo Toecap 2.0
Our improved Hexo Toecap toe cover features an enhanced three-dimensional shape that wraps around the corner of the boot. The asymmetrical design allows you to switch the covers between the left and right foot to fit the size and shape of the boot.
BUCKLES - LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock
Our next-generation LSR 2.0 buckle automatically locks in both directions as soon as you stop tightening the strap. Quickly set your preferred tension for easy entry into bindings, or make instant adjustments while riding.
FEATURES - Active Strap
The Active Strap technology automatically lifts the straps when the highback is tilted, creating more space for quick entry into and exit from the bindings. Once the straps are closed, they immediately return to the previously set tension level.
