The wooden XCaliber board has exactly the same shape as its carbon counterpart, but it rides completely differently, especially on water that is far from perfect. Nothing absorbs chop on the water like a wooden construction, which makes riding smoother and allows you to edge even in more difficult sections. Better edging leads to a better pop.
