Description
Split goodboards 2022 GB Split Nose Rocker 165W
With a splitboard, you leave the crowds at the lifts behind and enjoy your independence.
Whether it's short trips on the slopes or through the woods, long climbs with exceptional powder descents or a night ascent with a headlamp. With a splitboard the mountain experience is much more intense, you slow down and feel very close to nature.
Splitboards from goodboards are durable and lightweight at the same time. Choose from freeride shapes with a wider nose in lengths 155, 160M and 165W, which come with clips and hooks.
Split Camber model for the best edge hold on ascents and descents, or Split Nose Rocker for even more lift in powder. Sintered graphite coatings are used for the best gliding characteristics. A special wood core combines lightweight and hardwood. Three layers of fibreglass give the splitboard more power and fast power transfer at the edge.
Characteristics
Nose Rocker/Camber
The rocker at the tip of the board makes it easier to surf in deep snow, while the traditional camber shape is designed to give plenty of pop and maximum grip during turns and make it easier to hold an edge when climbing.
Double Wood Core
Two distinct types of wood laminate pressed together to offer a more versatile and a lively core.
Triaxal Basalt
Tougher and lighter than fibreglass and more flexible than carbon, basalt fibres increase power and stability while eliminating vibration.
Carbon-Kevlar Power Stringers
A carbon mat that is interlaced with fibreglass under the binding. This carbon mat will absorb chatter and provide stability in choppy terrain.
Triaxial Straight Fiberglass
Creates customized flex where torsional resistance is increased resulting in better stabilityt.
Sintered Graphite Nivylen Base
Nivylene is a completely new synthetic material that has been developed specifically for ski or snowboard bases in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Nivylene is lighter, tougher and more resistant than traditional underlays.
